Children younger than two-and-a-half are cared for in a loving nursery setting while the older toddlers 3 - 6 and older homeschool children participate in an age-appropriate curriculum which has been developed especially for MOPPETS programs.
MOPPETS cares...
· That a child feels good about him/herself.
· That a child experiences the love of Jesus Christ.
· That a child receives quality care and teaching.
The MOPPETS program relies heavily on volunteers to maintain a safe and secure environment. Each Mom is required to assist in the MOPPETS program once per year, or when the nursery or classrooms are short-staffed due to illness or absences.
Please help us provide a wonderful experience for your children by adhering to the following guidelines:
Well Child Nursery/Classrooms. If your baby or child has a cold or other illness, he/she will be more comfortable at home, and that would help us avoid passing the illness on to other children in the nursery or classroom.
Bring a change of clothes for your children (including socks) and at least three diapers if your child is not potty trained.
Label all items (including bottles and cups) with child's name.
**Please note, due to the large class sizes of our children's program and the need for space for new children, if your child misses three or more MOPS classes in a row, he/she may be placed on a waiting list until adequate staffing can be found. Thank you for your understanding.
If you are not a mother of a preschooler and are interested in helping either as a teacher, helper, or sub, please contact us!!
If you know of someone who would be interested in helping with the Children's Program, either on a regular basis or as a substitute please have them contact us. We are always in need of teachers and workers. We never want to turn a mom away. Thank You!!
